In the Danish curriculum, 14 authors are required reading. 13 of them are men, only 1 is a woman. What perspective does that offer young students on the world?
Chat with the curriculum
Pensum_GPT is an AI chatbot trained exclusively on literature from the 14 authors in the curriculum. It acts as a digital personification of the curriculum – one that turned out to be quite controversial. We integrated the chatbot directly into the DM feature on the Instagram profile @pensum_gpt, allowing everyone to chat with it.
A call to action
The campaign aimed to catch the attention of political decision-makers to shed light on the gender imbalance in the literary canon. Ultimately, the aim was to revise the literary canon and provide future students with a broader and more nuanced perspective on the world.
