Employer Branding: Do we share values?

Do we share values?

Meet Judith, Sagar, Anders and Semina. These four individuals each have very different values, backgrounds and personalities – just as IKEA reflects and appreciates diversity. Through their stories, we created a red thread between internal and external communication with the message that personal values and character are far more important to IKEA than what’s on your CV.

Authenticity and values

Through friends, neighbours, youth coaches and family, we told their stories – not about their skills, but about their personal values. The values and traits that make them indispensable to IKEA.

A personal recommendation

IKEA took it a step further and changed its recruitment process so that it is now possible to upload recommendations from people other than former employers. IKEA now also accepts recommendations from close relations.

Room for more values

With the help of Judith, Sagar, Anders and Semina, we showcased the many different personalities and values IKEA employees embody. We communicated how diverse IKEA’s values truly are – both as part of internal communication and as a recruitment campaign.
